This Week 1358 Air Cadets had a rare opportunity to visit the home of the Prime Minister during their recent trip to London . The Cadets from Brynamman, and Pontardawe along with other squadrons from across the wing assembled in the famous street for unique photo opportunity. local.PO Curtiss Adamiec who arranged the special visit added ‘It was great to offer the cadets a unique opportunity to visit one of the most famous and influential homes of all time from prime ministers past and present.

Before departing Whitehall the cadets were formed up at Horseguards parade famous for trooping the colour and alongside The Household Cavalry. They were just yards from onlookers and tourists eagerly awaiting their photograph with the cadets and staff.
The action packed weekend also featured a visit to the Imperial war museum, the Air Museum at Duxford and the famous Churchill bunker which was kept secret throughout World War 2. It was the first weekend of its kind organised by Heath Davies for a number of squadrons across the wing and he hopes to make it an annual event.

The ATC is a Charitable Organisation providing valuable skills training and personal development for young men and women aged 13 to 19.

We are proud of our squadron and we welcome enquiries and questions from potential new Cadet recruits, Adult Staff or Civilian Instructors with skills to share with our Cadets.
As a member of our squadron, there are many activities to participate in including flying, shooting, sports, camping, and support to gain a Duke of Edinburgh award. Our core training also includes recognised qualifications in Aviation.
